Monday evenings (Term time only)

A Christian organisation (that is part of Potter Street Baptist Church) and who works in partnership with parents and the local community to see children and young people thrive in all areas of life (spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially) Within this supportive environment we offer children and young people a balanced four part programme.

We cherish and value our work with children and young people here. This has gone on for over 50 years and continues today.

Boy's at PSBC meet on Monday evening; (during term time) at Potter Street Baptist Church Hall. It's a Boys meeting and has replaced our previous work called Boy's Brigade.

Boy's aged 5 - 11 meet from 6.30pm - 8.00pm
Weekly subs are £1.

(At each meeting a piece of fruit, a small chocolate bar and unlimited squash drinks are provided for each boy. In addition subs cover insurance and most equipment and resource costs as well.) In the near future we hope to give the group a name and produce polo shirts to give a greater identity. Every young person's achievements are celebrated (with family and friends) and recognised through a PSBC award at a special event held in the autumn.

A consent form is required for each young person attending. This is completed by the parents/carers and confirms their willingness to become involved and ACTIVELY SUPPORT the children and young people (as you are able). All regular staff are police checked and no visitors are left 'unsupervised' with any child or young person.

Children and young people are expected to behave in a manner that enables everyone to enjoy their time here and achieve their best.

The work is overseen by a qualified youth worker and is held accountable by the deacons and members of Potter Street Baptist Church. If you would like to come along then contact Amanda
